- Why use sportsbook props for start/sit?
- A player prop is a price real money is bet against. Books move receiving yards, rushing yards, reception and touchdown lines on injuries, role changes and weather within minutes, and they lose money when they are wrong. The calculator turns each line and its price into a no-vig chance and a projection for every stat.
- Which sources does it use?
- Live player props from BetRivers and BallyBet (two-way prices), Underdog, PrizePicks, ParlayPlay and Dabble, including the PrizePicks and Underdog fantasy score lines. ESPN fantasy projections and injury tags. Open-Meteo forecasts for outdoor games, and the spread and total for each team’s implied points.
- How is the projection built?
- Each stat gets a distribution fitted to the prop lines, with ESPN’s projection given a quarter of the weight and filling any stat the books do not price. The stats are simulated together 8,000 times and scored with your league’s rules, which gives an average, a floor, a ceiling and how often each player outscores the other.
- Does it account for injuries and weather?
- Prop lines already move for both. On top of that, a questionable player counts as about an 80% chance to play and a doubtful one about 25%, because props are void when a player sits. Wind, rain and snow at kickoff trim the ESPN share of passing and kicking projections.
- Can I import my league?
- Yes for ESPN (public leagues by ID; private leagues with your espn_s2 and SWID cookies) and Sleeper (by league ID). Yahoo needs a Yahoo sign-in that is not built yet, so enter Yahoo scoring by hand under Custom.
